hello,
i rsynced my arch install from dell 7400 2in1 (intel 8th gen) do dell 7435 2in1 (amd ryzen 7730u), using the recommended command in wiki
rsync -aAXHv -e ssh \
--exclude={"/dev/*","/proc/*","/sys/*","/tmp/*","/run/*","/mnt/*","/media/*","/lost+found","/var/cache/pacman/pkg/*"} \
root@192.168.1.100:/ /mntthere is a ~15secend freeze when the pc wakes from suspend. This happens in tty (disabled sddm),x11,wayland.
only thing that solves (decreases the freeze to 1s) is kernel parameter pci=nomsi
cat /proc/cmdline
..pci=nomsi..i tried manualy disabling msi for particular devices w/o success. I run no custom services or module settings. Migrated to amd-ucode. Tried rcu_nocbs=0-15 processor.max_cstate=3. Reinstalled systemd, pciutils.
The sleep in itself (device uses only s2idle) seems to be working ok. Ngl it all works fine in preinstalled windows 11/
any idea why this happens?
can my problem be because i rsynced from intel system to amd?
what install scripts for what packages could i rerun to hope to solve this?
what else can i try to improve this if I know the pci=nomsi helps?
