Problem with installation on usb hdd ?maybe?

Hello every users!
I have such problem. I have run installation from live media which is installed on usb stick. I connect usb hdd partition it, format for boot, swap and root parts. I've mounted these partitions on live catalog /mnt , but if I try to install the system with pacman -Syyu then everything is nonstop trying install files on usb stick live medium used for proper installation, of course so its for me problem. How I am can change the partition on usb stick /dev/sdc1 for root partition in btrfs on //dev/sdb3, swapon on /dev/sdb2, and prepared 1Gb for gpt efi /dev/sdb1. In installation guide there is not such information. Rest of installation process is for me any problem. Please help me as fast as possible. I will be very graceful.
Sincerely - Norbert Cielecki.

instead of using standard pacman, which defaults to the current system root (/), you should use pacstrap, the /mnt argument like think of it, tells the installer: "do not install on the USB; install everything onto whatever is currently mounted at /mnt." smile

Re: Problem with installation on usb hdd ?maybe?

Are you following the official installation guide https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Installation_guide ? Because in there are clear instructions on how to mount the partitions and there is no pacman -Syyu in the installation guide.
