Hi, not sure where to start looking into this, in late March / early April 2026, Thunar stopped showing plugged USB drives, and it doesn't show my smartphone when connected either.
There is an option in Edit > Preferences > Advanced > Volume Management to "Enable Volume Management" it is checked, and within the "Configure" section it is possible to "Mount removable drives when hot-plugged" and "Mount removable media when inserted", this will mount USB drives (not the behavior I want, as I may want to connect an USB drive for partitioning) so, gvfs and thunar-volman seems to be working.
However, that was not the behavior from before, which was that a drive will just appear greyed out and ready to be click for mounting. This is what I would like to have back.
Any ideas how to get the greyed-out-ready-to-be-mounted devices back? Was this an upgrade/regression?
Thanks.

Ah, it was a regression due to cherry-picking commits by the Thunar Arch Linux package maintainer:

Downgraded to 4.20.6 and got my drives/smartphone back.
