issues installing arch with LUKS2 encryption

im trying to install arch with LUKS2 full disk encryption. i can get to the grub menu but when i try to boot arch this happens: https://litter.catbox.moe/3kjnedp7pz5ehc4h.jpg
i looked at the sulogin(8) manpage but nothing there seems to suggest to fix this problem. i also dont know what it means by "dependancy missing" and i couldnt find any answers. what can i do to fix this?

i am able to unencrypt the drive in live boot mode just fine, but when i try to boot the actual machine it does this before asking for a password.

im trying to run this on a Gateway GWTC116-2BK

Re: issues installing arch with LUKS2 encryption

the sulogin message is a red herring, atleast one of the rescue modes in init stage has a locked root account that triggers that message .

You may be missing a hook or module, please post the contents of your /etc/mkinitcpio/.conf .
Also the exact commandline used by grub .

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky
