Gnome desktop mouse cursor zoom issues

On the GNOME desktop, the mouse cursor has issues zooming in both the Electron and Avalonia apps

I am using Wayland GNOME version 50.2
I use a mouse theme called March 7th"

I use the

gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.interface cursor-size 64

command to modify the mouse zoom, but no matter how I adjust it, the cursor size remains the same on some Electron and Avalonia apps

Re: Gnome desktop mouse cursor zoom issues

I'm assuming the common difference to be that they are xwayland clients. Not sure about Avalonia, but some of the electron clients might be coercible to a Wayland session with https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Electr … le_Wayland -- depending on how up to date their electron implementation is.
