MX Master 3S refusing connection after dual boot setup

Hi!

I am running into some trouble with setting up my Bluetooth mouse connection to work in dual boot between Windows and Arch. I am using a MX Master 3S mouse.

I followed the guide here https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Blueto … ot_pairing - more specifically:

  1. Paired mouse in Arch, mouse connection works

  2. Rebooted to Windows, paired the mouse in Windows, mouse connection works in Windows

  3. Rebooted back to Arch, followed the instructions, copied over from Windows to Arch:  LTK to PeripheralLongTermKey and SlaveLongTermKey, IRK to IdentityResolvingKey. I left ERand and EDIV as 0, as per the guide.

  4. Restarted bluetooth service, rebooted system.

Results: Pairing briefly connects and disconnects in a few loops, after which it refuses to connect completely. Mouse does not actually respond during these attempts.

I tried to manually connect from bluetoothctl

❯ bluetoothctl connect D7:A1:FE:89:14:E6
Attempting to connect to D7:A1:FE:89:14:E6
[CHG] Controller A8:E2:91:4C:5E:5E Discovering: yes
Failed to connect: org.bluez.Error.Failed le-connection-abort-by-local

Ran btmon, only relevant events that I find

Not sure how to proceed with troubleshooting, any idea would be helpful.

Thanks!
