When I set my brightness to minimum , it is still bright, it could go lower on windows, issue is eye strain otherwise I was ignoring it ,
DEVICE: /sys/class/backlight/amdgpu_bl1
brightness: 655
actual_brightness: 1848
max_brightness: 65535 (rn my brightness is at lowest )
❯ journalctl -b -k | grep -iE 'brightness curve|amdgpu.*backlight'

I'd try disabling the custom brightness curve first. The ArchWiki — Backlight (AMD) documents the `amdgpu.dcdebugmask=0x40000` kernel parameter for this purpose.
Add the parameter to your kernel command line, reboot, and check whether the minimum brightness gets lower. If it doesn't help, I'd check the kernel version next.

I tried it nothing changed, I think windows was using some kind of prebuilt gamma to reduce the light, as I dont see any other option next

Does "systool -vm amdgpu" indicate that the parameter was correctly applied?
tail /sys/class/backlight/amdgpu*/*The software solutions (w/o altering the backlight, you just render darker) are explained in https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Backli … correction
