Subject: qt6-webengine dropped from extra-testing
Date: Sat, 24 Oct 2026 18:35:00 +0200
Newsgroups: gmane.linux.arch.devel
qt6-webengine 6.140 was supposed to be released alongside Qt 6.12, but it keeps being delayed for unknown reasons (for 3 weeks now). In the meantime, it is getting in the way of the the extra package updates, and some dependants built in testing/staging may pick up new ABI and break when moved to extra, so it has been removed from testing. Testing users may want to downgrade to 6.11.2 from extra. If you still have testing `6.140.0rc-1` in cache, then installing it enables `qgis` but may break other stuff.

qt6-webengine is finally updated, so whenever QGIS is finally updated with no errors I'll close this.
