> so how to? Yes https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/vlc-git supports Wayland but bad GUI, I prefer https://archlinux.org/packages/extra/x86_64/vlc/ , maybe others vlc vs vlc-git ?

Have you actually read the link you posted?
Note that although the --enable-wayland build flag is used in the vlc PKGBUILD (which currently uses VLC version 3.0), Xwayland is used anyway, as Wayland support on VLC 3 is broken.

Yes obviously, but as I said "no longer works", it worked before: https://archlinux.org/packages/extra/x86_64/xorg-xeyes/ didn't follow the pointer over env -u DISPLAY vlc , only vlc it follows.
I also found vlc X consumes more GPU than vlc-git Wayland, vlc vs vlc-git 1 - 1...

The wiki clearly states that only vlc-git works on wayland (which matches your experience) while your post seems to claim the opposite was true - sure you didn't simply use vlc-git before?
=> downgrade VLC to confirm your assessment.
vlc vs vlc-git 1 - 1...
I've no idea what you're trying to say here.

The wiki states also env -u DISPLAY vlc works on Wayland, but unfortunately no longer, so this wiki page should be updated, I haven't Alzheimer it was vlc.
1 - 1 is a score, vlc good GUi - vlc-git consumes less GPU.
Well I guess I'll use vlc-git, I just don't understand why that awful GUI, maybe I'll complain to https://forum.videolan.org/ .

… and apparently fails because
Wayland support on VLC 3 is broken
What "awful gui"?
Afaict vlc uses qt5 and vlc-git uses qt6, are you talking about the used Qt style plugin/color configuration?

env -u DISPLAY vlc worked (xeyes didn't follow), the only issue I encountered was the fullscreen panel at the center of the display, not at the bottom.
Indeed qt5 so 1 - 2.
vlc-git has a bad GUI design, bad workflow compared to vlc, just stuck to the good old GUI videolan...

so 1 - 2
I still have absolutely no idea what you're trying to say.
main interface error: no suitable interface module
So do you have https://archlinux.org/packages/extra/x86_64/vlc-gui-qt/ and does eg. qt5ct run as native wayland client?
Did you try to downgrade vlc to the previous version to confirm that that (still) works as native wayland client?
vlc-git has a bad GUI design, bad workflow compared to vlc
You'll have to take that upstream, pretty sure that eventually vlc4 will replace vlc3 in the repos.

1 - 2 : vlc good GUi - vlc-git consumes less GPU, qt6 (vlc qt5).
Yes I've vlc-gui-qt & no I haven't qt5ct .

The idea was to check whether *any* qt5 process works as native wayland client (qt5ct just being a lightweight and reasonable example)
So far VLC4 isn't in extra because I think there's not even a final release.
It's just something you need to expect to happen so accustom to the GUI now to avoid having to deal with that later.
