Hi guys. So for the past few months I've been struggling with internal sound from my laptop on arch. The headphones and my hdmi monitor speakers works fine but i cannot get the internal audio to work. I tried using gemini and chatgpt to get it to work and for a moment it worked when i had a file
msi-audio.conf in /etc/modprobe.d/ with this inside
options snd-intel-dspcfg dsp_driver=1
options snd-hda-intel model=alc255-msi
but some time after it broke again. I have sof-firmware alsa-utils installed and im using pipewire. I would be really really thankful for help, since its the only problem with arch i couldn't fix myself.
EDIT: I just solved it by updating bios but it only persist for some time before breaking apart again and i can only fix it by updating bios
