Error with ideapad_acpi causing desktop freezes

Hi, I'm getting this recurring error when my laptop is unplugged that causes the desktop to freeze until I go in and out of a TTY.

 ideapad_acpi VPC 2004:00: unexpected charge_types: both [Fast] and [Long_Life] are enabled 

Any ideas?

I somewhat doubt that that error causes the desktop to freeze on unplugging (there's probably something else going on), but do you get the freezes if you blacklist the ideapad-laptop module?

Are you unplugging from  AC or a dock?
