Using git to update yay results in connection reset by peer

I am trying to git clone the yay repo to update it. When I try and git clone, I get a connection reset by peer error. I figured maybe I was dropping packets, but mtr showed that I have a fast connection to the aur servers and am not dropping packets. I also tried git cloning from github and it completed without issue. I am at a loss as to what could cause this.

Could you please add the outputs of 'mtr --tcp -b -w -r -c 20 aur.archlinux.org' and `curl -v https://aur.archlinux.org'?
