can't use gamepad in vm

i have a win10 vm with gpu passthrough and all works fine except my gamepad. it gets detected in the vm but cant start with error 10. i did tried to unbind it but still the same issue in the vm
echo '1-10:1.0' | sudo tee /sys/bus/usb/drivers/usbhid/unbind
  echo '1-10:1.1' | sudo tee /sys/bus/usb/drivers/usbhid/unbind
its one of those xbox 360 generic  clones. i added it in virt manager as an usb host  device
though the keyboard, mouse and headphone works fine without any modifications just adding it  as  usb host devices in virt manager
