Windows 11 - like window position remembering on KDE

I'm using KDE on my main machine running Arch and a Windows desktop that is hooking up to a monitor, the setup looks a little bit like this:

[ Left Monitor ] [ Middle Monitor ] [ Laptop (Arch) ]
       ▲ ▲ │
       │ (DP) │ (via KVM) │ (TB)
       │ │ │
┌──────────────┐ ┌──────────────┐ │
│ Thunderbolt │────▶│ KVM │ │
│ Dock │ └──────┬───────┘ │
└──────┬───────┘ │ │
       │ │ │
       │ [ Desktop PC ] │
       │ (Below desk) │
       │ │
       └─────────────────────────────────────────┘

I hope that I'm saying sense here. I typically have windows on all 3 monitors when the kvm input is set to the dock. When I switched to the desktop PC, the system acts as if I unplugged the middle monitor and moved the windows that were on the middle monitor to the other monitors, which is actually what I wanted. But when I switched back from the PC to the dock (laptop) the windows didn't return to the middle monitor.

Is there a way that KDE can remember the windows' monitor and return them to their original position before switching the kvm? From my understanding this is kinda like how Windows 11 handles multi-monitor.

Anw sorry for the poor graphics, ChatGPT tried but tongue

Looks like KDE store has: Remember Window Positions

Not sure how it'll play with docking/undocking desktop changes but might be a good place to start.

I looked at it before posting the question tongue. It seems like it remembers the window position so when the window closes, so like you'd always open Firefox in a specific size and location. So close, but not quite what I'm looking for sad
