AMD 6800XT one fan spinning at 100%

As of today one of three of my GPU fans is suddenly spinning at 100% as soon as it is told to spin. The other two fans seem to be spinning at the correct speed. I checked this by stopping each fan by hand once and letting it spin back up, the noisy one was the last one.

Setting a curve in CoreCtrl does nothing, setting it to a fixed value of even 5% creates the same noise level as setting it to 50%. Setting it to 100%, I can hear the other two fans spinning up and creating the same noise level as the first(last?) fan.
Setting the fixed value to 0% stops all fans.

GPU usage is at 0%, CPU usage at ~5%. Fan speed is shown at ~3555 rpm, it jumps around a bit between 3540 and 3555. Temperatures are hovering around 50°C for both the memory and the hotspot. On automatic settings the fan kicks in when the temperature of the memory climbs above 58°C. Last system update ran on 7th of June, this behaviour appeared today about two hours ago. I've rebooted the system once but that did not change anything.

Operating System: Arch Linux
KDE Plasma Version: 6.6.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.26.0
Qt Version: 6.11.1
Kernel Version: 7.0.11-arch1-1 (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: Wayland
Processors: 12 × AMD Ryzen 5 7600X 6-Core Processor
Memory: 32 GiB of RAM (30.7 GiB usable)
Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT
Manufacturer: Micro-Star International Co., Ltd.
Product Name: MS-7E12
System Version: 1.0

BIOS Version is 7E12v1K (updated 4 days ago)

Tried a full shutdown, unplugging + pressing power button twice and then plugging it back in and booting it up. No change.

After a few hours it seems to have fixed itself now. RPM is at 602 and temperature is stabilized at 60°C for both GPU sensors. Not sure what is going on here.
