Can't register to aur.

Hello everyone,
I have been using aur for a while now and i want publish an app myself but i can't seem to register in the aur section. I suppose that the accounts for aur and forums are different and i can't use this account to publish packages on aur.

I try to register myself but then everytime no matter how quickly i finish the registration form it says that THE CAPTCHA has expried.
As far as i know i am doing the captcha corectly and i don't see any other captcha that i should fill up aside from the comman it gives us. I don't know if it is due to the recent aur supply chain issue which I read online resulted in new regirstrations being blocked. But i don't see any indication of the registration being blocked rather just that my captcha has expired.

If anyone knows whats happening or if i am missing something please let me know.

Hello, and welcome to the forum.

(incorrect, see Lone_Wolf below; sorry, I was unaware of the change)
AUR registration is currently shut down as a mitigation against the June wave of package take-overs and their fallout.

It is supposed to have been re-enabled a while ago, captcha expiring / not working is often caused by restricting things (noscript, ublock origin, adblockers etc) the captcha needs to work.

What browser are you using ?
If firefox try filling in the form in the troubleshooting mode. Trying an alternative browser like falkon may also work.

Is the system you ran the command on uptodate ?

i am using firefox and i also tried it on throium but i faced the same issue on both. i disabled my ad blockers like ublock origin and ghoster but i didn't see any difference.

Edit: i tried it on a fresh firefox profile and it work finally. Thanks for your help regardless.
