Ran into this issue earlier, on version 11.1.1-1 of Prism, which is the latest version. Minecraft fails to launch with an error saying that it cannot find Checker.
There is an issue made on the Prism Launcher GitHub here: https://github.com/PrismLauncher/PrismL … ssues/6303
In that thread it was found that part of the issue is that Prism is installed in both /sbin/prismlauncher and /usr/bin/prismlauncher. As of right now, the version in /sbin is run instead of the other, so Prism ends up checking for Checker in /share.
I'm not sure whether the fault lies on the package or the upstream application, but I do think it's a little strange that Prism is installed in two different locations. Is there any specific reason why that is?? and can it instead just be put into one spot?

On a proper functioning Arch install sbin is a symlink to /usr/bin and they will show the same contents regardless. IMO their way of checking for a relevant upper path is faulty. The prefix path is passed into their CMAKE buildsystem, they should be able to reference that and check that for something that's way more guaranteed than trying to guess based on a relative location of the binary. E.g. with QtStandardPaths::AppDataLocation or so: https://doc.qt.io/qt-6/qstandardpaths.html

Okay, thanks, I didn't know that part of the build process. I'll pass that up to the GitHub issue. Thank you, have a nice day.
