The Python "pipx" package (python-pipx in the Arch repos) requires the Python "filelock" package, but python-filelock is not listed as a dependency of python-pipx. This can result in pipx invocations on Arch crashing with an error traceback if the system doesn't already have python-filelock installed for something else.
Also, uv is currently listed as an "extra" dependency of "pipx" in its Python package metadata, but uv is not listed as an optional dependency of python-pipx.
I hope these deficiencies in the python-pipx metadata can be resolved soon.

Please perform a clean chroot build of python-pipx with pkgctl from archlinux devtools to verify your findings and post logs of it.
Once you can substantiate your findings, consider emailing the maintainer of python-pipx directly .
Sidenote
Keep in mind registering for gitlab.archlinux.org needs to be manually processed now which is far from ideal.
Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.
clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky
