Audio and bluetooth on removable USB MicroSD thing

Hello Arch forums! I have my account back from my previous problems, and I have successfully installed Arch without archinstall on my removable USB Adapter MicroSD thing. I've not been able to set up audio and bluetooth for the single day I've had it, because I can't figure out how to do anything, or what to do, for that matter. What packages should I install, what systemd services should I start/enable, and what else should I do? Please help, not being able to listen to my favorite music is very boring.

Edit: I have already tried setting all this stuff up, and when I installed pipewire, the pipewire and pipewire-pulse systemd services didn't exist???

Re: Audio and bluetooth on removable USB MicroSD thing

Very little actable information here and this will strongly depend on what kind of hardware you are actually plugging "thing" into. Generally installing pipewire{,-pulse} and wireplumber will ultimately ship all that's necessary for generally being able to set this up.

For general info you probably want to read https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Bluetooth and https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Bluetooth_headset you'll minimally need to have BT capable hardware and start the bluetooth.service (depending on how flexible this needs to be you probably want the entire base stack in  the linux-firmware meta package at minimum)

Oh also here's this:

[root@orangearch block-blast]# systemctl enable pipewire
Failed to enable unit: Unit pipewire.service does not exist
[root@orangearch block-blast]# systemctl enable pipewire-pulse
Failed to enable unit: Unit pipewire-pulse.service does not exist
[root@orangearch block-blast]# systemctl enable wireplumber
Failed to enable unit: Unit wireplumber.service does not exist
[root@orangearch block-blast]# pacman -Q pipewire
pipewire 1:1.6.10-1

Re: Audio and bluetooth on removable USB MicroSD thing

The "very" reason those systemctl enable commands failed is that PipeWire and WirePlumber are designed to run as per-user services, not system-wide services. Logout from root and enable them from regular user (w/o sudo), using the --user flag

Edit:
And before that,  make sure you actually have the required audio stack installed.

Can you please tell me what to install? I'm just very confused about all this audio stuff, and I just want to listen to music.
